In 1982, a group of pioneers in higher education pioneers came together to seek a way to use satellite technology to share knowledge and skills and cover special events on their campuses and to share them with a consortium of like-minded institutions. This was the genesis of the then National University Teleconferencing Network. In the 30+ years since our founding, the now National University Technology Network (NUTN), has grown and evolved to include the broader mission of the advancement of teaching and learning. While emerging technologies and delivery methodologies may change, it is the founding principle of collaboration among members that is most essential to our success story.

The NUTN Network is one of genuine connections, professional networking, community building and open problem solving. There's a resource group, committee, project team or kindred spirit for everyone. I encourage you to find your place in today’s NUTN.
